AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

 

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Brothers and Sisters;

As-salamo alaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh;

Alhamdulillah, the renovation of  Masjid Toronto is going well on schedule.

  • A part of the Sisters’ prayer area (2nd floor) is now being (temporarily) opened for the sisters’ prayer. 

  • The wudu and washrooms for both brothers and sisters are closed for construction.

Please ensure you have wudu when coming to the Masjid.

We are making every attempt to accommodate everyone, so we need your patience and cooperation.

Insha’a Allah, the work will be completed before Ramadan.

Also we have now,  three Friday Prayers at:

Masjid Toronto @ Adelaide. See prayer list on the opposite column (right side).

Great for printing and posting on the fridge. With the iqama times, you can now know exactly when we pray the five prayers at the masjid in congregation.

The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, “If people knew the reward in praying Fajr and Isha in congregation, they would go to the mosque even if they had to crawl.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

And also,“Prayer in congregation is superior to prayer alone by twenty seven degrees.” [Bukhari & Muslim, from Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him)]
