AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

 

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

 

Brothers and Sisters;

As-salamo alaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh;

Alhamdulillah, the renovation of  Masjid Toronto is going well on schedule.

  • Until further notice, the 2nd floor is reserved for sisters.

  • The sisters’ wudu and washrooms will remain closed.  Sisters absolutely need to come with wudu.

  • There’s a limited access to wudu and washrooms for the brothers.

Please ensure you have wudu when coming to the Masjid.

Insha’a Allah, the work will be completed before Ramadan.

May Allah make it easy. We ask for your patience and dua.

Masjid Toronto @ Adelaide. See prayer list on the opposite column (right side).

Printable Iqama Times Now Available

Masjid Toronto’s 2013 Iqama Times are now available for download. Great for printing and posting on the fridge. With the iqama times, you can now know exactly when we pray the five prayers at the masjid in congregation.

The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, “If people knew the reward in praying Fajr and Isha in congregation, they would go to the mosque even if they had to crawl.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

And also,“Prayer in congregation is superior to prayer alone by twenty seven degrees.” [Bukhari & Muslim, from Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him)]
